A: If your present hosting provider can no longer fulfill the demands of your site, or if you undergo continual downtime, or if you have to wait for hours for the customer service staff to respond to you, it might be a good idea to swap your hosting provider, i.e. to migrate all the files for your sites along with your databases from your current provider to your new provider. At VR WeBLogic, we are aware that this can often be hard & time–consuming. That is the reason why we will perform all that for you at no cost!Our practiced technical staff representatives will transfer your website content from your current web hosting provider to us. Our techs have got broad experience migrating web sites and can handle everything – from a traditional WordPress–driven weblog or Joomla^™–powered website, to an extremely elaborate, custom–built web application.

A: While we cannot give you an exact time window, because there are a lot of variables, among them the size of the files and databases, the physical location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll try our very best to move your website within 48 hours, and in some cases – within 24 hours (in case the content is not large).

A: We’ll need the login information for your current hosting provider’s Control Panel as well as the site’s name (domain name).

A: Before we can start the migration of your web hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to share practically the same info you have given to your present web host. We also have a very rigid Privacy Policy, which describes how personal data is tackled.

A: Your web site will continue to work exactly like it did before with your previous web hosting provider. When we have completed the migration, your web site will be configured to work on our hosting platform and we will ask you to preview it. If everything is working properly, all you will need to do is edit the name server records for your domain. Your web site will be migrated to us with no downtime whatsoever.

A: While we migrate your web content, your web hosting provider will not be aware of the transfer at all. We will not get in touch with them in any way.

A: We support all Linux–based hosting platforms. Generally, if we can acquire access to your Control Panel, we will be able to transfer your website.The only platforms that we don’t support are closed–source website building platforms such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
